Kyoko is a character from The Dynamite Twins and Friends, appearing in the main series.
Character description[]
Physical appearance[]
Kyoko is a raccoon with long hair that is usually tied in a ponytail. When it's not tied, her hair is unkempt and fluffy. She has bright violet eyes, over which she typically wears glasses.
She is relatively short (around 5'0, compared to the average human character in TDT), and relatively chubby.
Her typical outfit is a yellow two-piece. She does wear a traditional kimono for certain occasions. She is very rarely seen in public without any clothing at all!
Persona[]
Kyoko is very much the resident tech nerd in the City of Critterton. From her time as a child prodigy, Kyoko is quite proficient technologically, and she can usually be found tinkering with some contraption of her design.
However, the nature of her work means that Kyoko tends to shut herself away from the world at large. Perhaps because of this, Kyoko tends to have a very unique perspective on the world she lives in. Things which seem normal to other people are either foreign, or downright alien to her. But she is by no means stupid. Quite the opposite, as she is very intelligent with a hands-on approach to her craft.
Kyoko has few friends, but those she does have, she cherishes as if they were members of her own family. Outside of her parents, her siblings, and her aunt, she gets along with Shirley Squirrel, as her outgoing persona, contrasts with Kyoko introverted type. She also gets along with Dexter and Abby Clapton, treating them as her own brother and sister. She's also friends with Melanie, Izzy, and Jeslyn.
And then, there's the Twins. Kyoko definitely gets along with both, to the point where she has a bit of a crush on both. And they know it!
She has very eclectic tastes, for a girl her age; she has very expansive music tastes, and we mean very expansive. Seriously, she can be seen listening to various genres, subgenres, and microgenres! She enjoys various forms of pop, rock and electronic, even in one session! This is why she's taken to enjoying the synthesizer/keyboard as a hobby. This varied palette would eventually come in handy when joining the supergroup PurpleSkies.
She is bisexual, and it took her a while to come to terms with it; indeed, the first person she came out to right away was her older sister Noriko, who is gay.
