Path of the Righteous is the second studio album from the Field Marshals. It would also end up being their last album - the band ended up going their separate ways after East Bay Jay lost his life.

Background and composition

The band decided to take a sabbatical for several years

Musically, this album is a departure from the edgier "nu metal" sound, opting for more "introspective rock", with elements of post-hardcore and electronica.

The title of this album was taken from a line from the Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction, which, in turn, was taken from Ezekiel 25:17.
